Smart Metal Detector | Metal Finder is a very useful mobile utility that turns your smartphone into an everyday use metal detector.
The Metal Detector application will detect the presence of metals nearby by measuring the magnetic field value. This useful application that can turn your phone into a digital metal detector uses the built-in magnetic sensor in your mobile device and shows the magnetic field level in μT (microtesla). The magnetic field level (EMF) in nature is about 49μT(microtesla) or 490mG(milli gauss); 1μT = 10mG.
Just open the app and start detecting metals nearby. The moment any metal is near, the value of the magnetic field will increase. The magnetic field level shown on the app screen will constantly fluctuate. Colorful lines represent the three dimensions for intensity and the numbers on top show the value of magnetic field level (EMF). You can continue the phone movement in that direction to reach the exact location of a metallic object. The device will vibrate and make a sound announcing that metal is close.
Smart Metal Detector | Metal Finder allows you to identify a metal object anywhere because all metals generate a magnetic field and the strength can be measured with this tool. In settings, you can change the sensitivity of vibration and sound effects.
You can use the Metal Detector to find electrical wires in walls (like a stud finder), iron pipes in the ground, or metallic objects anywhere!
Note: The app cannot detect gold, silver and coins made by copper because non-ferrous materials have no magnetic field.
Note: Due to electromagnetic waves, the magnetic sensor is affected by electronic equipment.
The accuracy of the app depends entirely on the sensor in your mobile device.
Attention! Not every smartphone and tablet model has a magnetic field sensor. If your device does not have one, the application will not work.
